Leisure activities in
the Borough of Welwyn Hatfield
Since the 1970s Hatfield has been joined with Welwyn Garden City to become what is now the Borough of Welwyn Hatfield (significant portions of WGC are originally part of the Parish of Hatfield). Many leisure facilities and parks, like Stanborough Lakes (shown in the photo) and the Gosling Stadium, are owned by the Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
